Seattle Peace Concerts Seeking Producers, Curators and Hosts 

For over 40 years the Seattle Peace concerts have presented free events in the parks as a mission founded by Don Glenn in 1981, to promote a culture of peace and reconciliation.

Seattle Peace Concerts is seeking new event producers who can meet the criteria, bring in a musical experience to the community and carry the torch lit by Don Glenn all those years ago.

The 2024 season will include 8 free concerts in parks across the city of Seattle, with dates open for new event producers to join the mission.

2024 venues include: Seward park, Volunteer Park, Gas Works Park, Yesler Terrace, and Jimi Hendrix Park.

We are also accepting proposals for the 2025 season.

Peace Concerts Producer Expectations

  1. Bonafide organizations with business license or nonprofit status, school, production company, media company, association or community organization.
  2. Non-denominational without political affiliation.
  3. Understand that this is an unpaid event for producers and talent, including for auditions.
  4. Commitment to fundraise and/or take donations to cover a portion of event/concert expenses.
  5. Have a presence online through a website or Facebook page and commit to sending event details with lineup and photos by press deadline.
  6. Commit to do promotions via online, mailing list, print media, invites of public free concert.
  7. Follow Seattle Parks Dept. policies. (set up, tear down, litter, parking, language, time, volume, land use, stage use, no fires, or fireworks, ) etc.
  8. Promote Music and Peaceful community gatherings in Seattle parks.
